What a gorgeous day! After all the cold weather we've had, I can't believe that it isn't officially winter yet. Today the sun was out and we decided to go for a drive to Okotoks to see how our house is going. We were very excited to see that the concrete had been poured for our basement walls. We then went for a walk down by the Sheep River:
This afternoon Devun had fun helping me bake some gingerbread cookies...
...and this evening we went to Airdrie for the Festival of Lights. We highly recommend it to anybody who hasn't checked it out yet (and make sure to bring your skates - there's a frozen pond for skating!)

Sounds like a fun weekend! We will definetly check out the Airdrie lights, if not this year for sure in the future.
