Devun's Lost Tooth

Nate's conversation with Devun at the dinner table a few hours after he lost one of his top front teeth yesterday:

Nate: Devun are you having a tough time eating your pizza?

Devun: yes dad.

Nate: you have to bite with the other side of your mouth. That's how Ovechkin probably does it.

Devun: Dad, I think Ovechkin just eats spaghetti.

Devun's 6th Birthday Party

This past weekend we celebrated Devun's upcoming birthday with a floor hockey party with his friends. The kids (and some of the dads) all had a blast!!!

KATIE IS FOUR!!!!

We had a great day on Katie's birthday celebrating her birthday. We started out with amazing waffles for breakfast... Katie's even had a candle!

We went skating at Stuart Park:
Which was then followed up with hot chocolate, dinner out and a Warriors game :)

Katie has grown up so much. She is still in gymnastics, preschool, skating lessons and she also plays hockey... that's right!!! She is following in her big brother's footsteps and playing hockey. Here she is on the ice with her hockey friends:

Katie is such a helpful and funny little four year old girl!!!!

November Snow Days

Westside Warriors Game

Last weekend Devun had the chance to be the 7th man at the Westside Warriors game. Also after the game, there was a public skate with the Warriors. Here is the video & pictures:

Phoenix, October 2011

In October we took a fantastic trip to Phoenix with friends of ours. It was a great week, the weather was great, we enjoyed many fun activities including many hours at the pool & spent quality time as a family. At the end of the wonderful week, we arrived home with 2 cases of strept throat & an ear infection and then due to an unfortunate accident, we sadly lost all our photos and videos from our trip. As you could imagine, this made me sad, but now I'm over it and posting some photos sent to me my our wonderful travel buddies :)
