Sun-Rype Tri Kids Triathlon - Kelowna

 Devun & Katie participated in their first triathlon today!  They did amazing and brought tears to my eyes with their determination.  For Katie's triathlon, she had to have a parent with her so Nate & I tag teamed and I went in the water with her while Nate did the bike & run portion.  It was also really neat as a bunch of their friends participated with them.  Here are some pictures:

Cabin & Cake

This past week went back to the cabin for a couple days and enjoyed summer at its finest, hot weather, a gorgeous lake and time with my parents.

Beach Fun with Family & Friends

Nate has had the first 2 weeks vacation in July.  We have had fun between heading to the cabin, hockey camp for Devun, working in the yard and spending time together as a family.  We were also very lucky to be able to spend some time with the kids' cousins from Calgary.  Although the weather wasn't too cooperative, we went and saw Madagascar 3 in 3-d and then spent a day at Kal Beach in Vernon.

 Finally our hot summer arrived, and it's been fun trying to stay cool!  Here are the kids at the splash park with Tanner (Kendra & Nolan's nephew):

July Long & Golf Lessons

July long weekend we headed out to the cabin for some fun with the family.  Since the weather had been so cool, the lake was a little cold yet and the weather wasn't too hot, so we kept busy doing other things:

 Devun has been taking golf lessons this summer with some friends.  He sure is enjoying it!
