Devun has been a little down all week due to all the Flames losses on the road. He sure hopes they win tonight....

Note the shiner over his right eye - this morning Devun had a little bit of a scrap with the headboard... But you should see the headboard!!!

Finally, after being fed up of moving the carseat back and forth on a daily basis between our vehicles, Nate & I decided to get a second one. As with most kids, Devun quickly found that the carseat is not as exciting as the box...

Fun in the Snow

Today Devun and I went out and built a snowman. The weather is beautiful here, but that also means all this gorgeous snow will be gone soon!!!

Devun's Recent Adventures...

I know I haven't posted for a while, but as everybody else, we've been busy. With Nate & I working opposite schedules, it seems that every spare moment together is spent running errands, bringing the vehicles to & from the shop (of course they both have to break down at the same time) and running to Okotoks to check on the progress of our house... Here are a few pictures that we have taken of Devun over the last couple weeks. He is growing so fast and learning new things everyday... In the spirit of the Superbowl, here is Devun and his football...

Devun has a new fascination of sitting on the stairs. He can be in the middle of playing with his toys, and he'll look up towards the stairs, drop everything that he's doing & go and sit on the bottom stair. He'll sit there and smile for a few minutes & then go back to play. Maybe its because it is the right height for him to sit... We can only guess what goes through his head...

Also, another fun hobby is emptying out cupboards & crawling inside. Whether it is the pot cupboard, the tupperware cupboard or even the toy cupboard. It is always fun to try and fit into new spaces...

For Devun everyday is a new adventure.

Megan's First Birthday

Last Saturday, Devun's cousin, Megan, celebrated her first birthday. It was a great time and turned out to be a mini-family reunion as many of the Olfert family were able to make it!!!
