Mini Golf & Monkey Birthday Fun

Yesterday we went to Scandia as an early birthday activity with Devun, Auntie Kendra, Uncle Dustin and our friends the Maddigans. We played mini-golf, ate some pizza, cake (the stage animals sung Happy Birthday to Devun), and played some arcade games. Here are a couple pictures from our evening:

Katie's Shoes

She LOVES her princess shoes (although her expression in this picture seems to declare the opposite):

...and our Christmas tree this year that is filling our home with a wonderful fresh Christmas tree smell:

Yesterday was a wonderful winter wonderland in Westbank. Here are a couple pictures of us playing in it:

Devun & Katie

Katie turned TWO!!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Katie's second birthday. She was so proud of the fact that it was HER birthday (not something else she had to share with Devun).

Showing Devun her new "laptop" (as you can tell, Devun took a quick break from his hockey practice to check it out)...

Our little fairy princess Katie:

Skating Fun!!!

Devun got his first skating report card yesterday... and he passed CanSkate Tot Session 1!!!

This morning we took Katie on the ice for the first time, and she did very well... always trying to be like her big brother!

Devun passed the puck with Grandpa for a while...

and then took a well deserved break in the penalty box:

Jaydin also went skating for the first time today and did very well...

Down Low on the DLR

This past weekend we took a trip to see Kendra & Nolan. Here are a couple pictures from our visit.

Skating with Devun

Devun is loving his skating lessons, but mommy can't keep off her skates either, so Devun & I are dropping in on the parent & tot skate with our sticks & a puck. It's amazing how much skating practice he gets when mommy keeps "missing" his stick with the puck by at least 10 feet!!!! We are having a blast! Here are a couple shots of Devun:

Devun showing off his moves:

Some of Devun's highlights are sitting in the players benches, the penalty boxes, looking at which door the zamboni comes out, skating to the circle in the middle of the ice because that is where the puck gets dropped.... Seriously this kid LOVES hockey!

A cold Fall Morning

Just a couple pictures from the park with Wyona and our friend Brent.

Sadie & Devun had fun racing down the hill:

Throwing rocks & leaves into the lake (and trying to keep the kids from stepping/falling in...)
