Christmas in Chilliwack 2006

As we are always hesitant to bring wrapped gifts onto the plane, Devun tried to help mommy wrap some gifts once we got to Chilliwack but he quickly found that the empty roll was way more fun. Devun walked around the house and practiced his sword-fighting skills which was accompanied by "arrgh" pirate sounds (and giggles which were not so pirate-like).

On December 22nd, Devun celebrated his FIRST birthday in Chilliwack. Here he is quite disturbed that the camera interrupted his conversation on his new "John Deere" cell phone.

As we already went through a Christmas in Drumheller, Devun figured out quickly that the stockings had presents in them. He had so much fun that he emptied his stocking, put all the items back in, and then pulled them out again.

Devun seems to be growing up more and more everyday, right now he is starting to mimic the things we do. While we were putting dishes away he climbed up onto the door and tried to help us unload the dishwasher.


We had such a great time out in Chilliwack but as always it must come to an end. Here's Devun with his Grandpa and Grandma Schultz.
