Knights of West Kelowna

As some of you may not know, Nate was inspired back in January to start a spring select league in West Kelowna. After a lot of research about similar programs he got sponsors on board, and gained supporters and now we have 13 amazing families and their boys involved in our 2005 born team. Not to mention a great coaching staff. This program is quickly getting noticed and we will be expanding it to 3 or 4 teams next year and a home tournament.

This past weekend we experienced our first tournament as a team and had an amazing weekend at the Kamloops Ice Pirates tournament. Although we were a little out of our league playing some impressive AAA teams coming from Calgary, Kamloops and Vancouver, the boys had a blast and played bar none the BEST hockey I've EVER seen them play. Our parents put together an impressive cheering section and almost all of us were brought to tears of pride watching how well our boys played and conducted themselves over the course of the weekend.
