Cabin Get-Away

During the first week of Spring Break Wyona & I decided to make a quick get away and head to the cabin for a couple days with the kids. It was fantastic and relaxing, and even Kendra was able to make it up to visit and hang out for an evening. It was the first time EVER I've made it to the cabin with ice (although thinning & dangerous) on the lake. The kids had a blast with nature walks involving scavenger hunts, games of pictionary and charades, and movie nights. Here are a couple pictures...

Kids kept poking sticks and throwing rocks into the thinning ice... thankfully they were careful and we did not have to make a cold water rescue!
