Nate & I decided to take the kids to Vancouver Island for a quick 3-day weekend to explore and visit friends. Nate hadn't been to the island since he was a young child, and I hadn't been there for years either, so we narrowed our trip to Victoria and Sooke and took in some kid-friendly sight-seeing. Our friends, Benjy & Christi and their daughter Autumn came and met us in Victoria for one day, and then we went out and spent some time in Sooke, their current hometown.
