A Wonderful Week in Phoenix

We just spent an amazing week in Phoenix with Nate's parents. Anybody who knows Nate's dad knows that he has more energy and is up for more adventure than anybody else I've ever met, so the week was full of fun activities for both the kids and ourselves. We went to the University of Phoenix to watch the Cardinals. It was a great game, a nail-biter until the very end when Phoenix was victorious over Houston. We made a day-trip to Sedona and went on a wonderful jeep tour to the top of the mountain. We spent a day at the Phoenix zoo, which is an amazing zoo for kids and we got to see animals that we haven't seen before. We took a tour of the state-of-the art University of Phoenix stadium where the field is moved out of the stadium during the week so it can grow outside in the sun (yes, the dirt & sprinkler system moves with it). We attended a Phoenix Coyotes game and went to the huge outdoor store, Cabella's. And yes, we even managed a day to sit at the pool at our hotel while Grandpa & Grandma went to see the Grand Canyon. It was such a special week to spend time with the Olferts since we don't get to see them as much anymore. Miss you guys! Here are some of our pictures from the trip:
