One of our big projects this year was our deck & fence. Nate got a good start on the fence on the long weekend, and then my parents, my brother & his family came out to do our deck for us the following weekend. Unfortunately it rained ALL weekend. The first day was so wet we started by bailing out the holes with a bailing bucket - the water was the easy part, it was the muck that was at the bottom that was not so fun to remove. We had a break in the rain to pour the cement footings, but due to all the water, we had a day of waiting for the concrete to dry. Although the weather wasn't cooperative, we had fun together and the final product is amazing! Special thanks to Dustin, Dad and the person who invented nail guns!!!
