The Waterpark and the "Baby" BBQ

This past weekend was another fun-filled weekend. To try and cool down from the heat, we went to the waterpark on Saturday with Matt, Michelle, Jaina and Lewis. Devun and Jaina had a blast in the water. After all the fun in the water, we went to Matt and Michelle's house and enjoyed a great pizza dinner. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of this, so you'll have to trust me.

Then on Sunday we went to a BBQ with five of the families from our baby class. It was so neat to see how the kids had grown up as we all met when our bellies were about to burst in our last trimester, and now, they are no longer babies, but little boys and girls in the fun, energy packed toddler stage. Here are a few pictures from the bbq:

Here is Devun outside eating his hotdog and kraft dinner. The kids loved their menu, and us adults enjoyed home-made burgers...

Here are the three boys all playing with the magnets on the fridge. As you can tell, Devun is wearing his new Denver Bronco's jersey that daddy proudly got for him on his last trip to Denver...

Emma showed Devun her ball tent...

Devun loved the ball tent, but we quickly realized why we don't have one... After this picture was taken Devun, being a typical little boy, decided it would be fun to throw the balls out of the tent. One at a time wasn't really efficient as Emma would pick them up and throw them back in. Then Devun learned the "scoop" technique... At this point it took Emma, Emma's mom Brandy and myself to keep up with the balls coming out of the tent and throwing them back in. So Devun, being a little problem solver, realized that he could get out of the tent, pick it up and dump all the balls out of the door, and that is what he did... What a little monkey! Here is a picture of Devun with the biggest smile in the ball tent...

What a turkey! But definitely a smart one!
